Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted program

jensen-mcperson-hamptonThe most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” highlights two men featured before who have yet to be found, and a woman wanted for contempt of court and violating probation.

The new episode begins airing Friday, October16.

In it, police ask for the public’s help in locating 26-year-old William Tory Jensen, who is wanted on an assortment of bench warrants, including one for meth trafficking.

He is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-10, about 130 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair. He has no permanent address but has been known to frequent the Kailua-Kona area.

The television program also asks for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for questioning for terroristic threatening, harassment and identity theft. He identifies himself as 48-year-old Bernard Joe McPherson but police believe he has assumed that identity. He is described as Caucasian, 6-foot-1, about 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last known to live in the Glenwood area of Puna and is considered dangerous.

In this edition of “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted,” the host, Sergeant Melvin Yamamoto, also asks for help in locating 45-year-old Joann J. Hampton of Kailua-Kona, who is wanted on a one-thousand-dollar warrant of arrest for violating probation after being convicted of abuse of a family member. She is also wanted on a 300-dollar bench warrant for contempt of court. She is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-7, 124 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted

The most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” features possible witnesses in a murder investigation, a 37-year-old woman wanted on bench warrants, and a man wanted for failing to appear in court.

The new episode begins airing Friday, September 25.

In it, police ask for the public’s help in locating occupants of a sports-utility vehicle who may have seen 5-year-old Javieanne Win near a building by the intersection of Shipman Street and Kamehameha Avenue in downtown Hilo at 2:13 p.m. on September 6. The SUV, which was seen on a surveillance video, appears to be a red or maroon Toyota RAV 4 with surf racks.

The television program also asks for the public’s help in locating 37-year-old Natalie Taketa, also known as Natalie Ann Asuncion, who is wanted for violating terms of a deferred plea in an unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle case. She is also wanted for violating probation after being convicted of promoting a dangerous drug and illegally possessing a weapon. She is described as Filipino, 5-foot-8, about 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last known to live in Nā’ālehu.

In this edition of “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted,” the host, Sergeant Melvin Yamamoto, also asks for help in locating 29-year-old Nicholas Samuel Davis, who is wanted on a 50-thousand-dollar bench warrant. He is described as Caucasian, 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. Police believe he is living in Puna.

Hawaii Island’s ‘Most Wanted’

20090709_most-wantedThe most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” features two men wanted on bench warrants and a man wanted in connection with a theft. The new episode begins airing Friday, July 10.

In it, police ask for the public’s help in locating 47-year old Andrew Gregg Mayo of Kailua-Kona. Mayo is wanted on a no-bail bench warrant for violating probation after being convicted of habitual drunk driving and driving with a license that was suspended because of drunk driving. He is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-9, 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

The television program also asks for the public’s help in locating 36-year-old Emiliano Hernandez-Navarro of Kealakekua, who is wanted on a 75-thousand-dollar bench warrant. The warrant was issued after Hernandez-Navarro failed to appear in court for a jury trial for abuse, assault, criminal property damage and terroristic threatening. He is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-9, 195 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

The latest edition of “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted,” also asks for help in locating Edwin Morrill Perkins III, also known as “Tre.” The Kailua-Kona man is wanted for cashing stolen checks. He also has two outstanding bench warrants for contempt of court stemming from DUI charges. Perkins is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-9, 230 pounds with brown eyes, brown hair and a mustache.

Three of ‘Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted’ found

20090630_most-wanted-foundThe Hawai’i Police Department has located three men recently featured on the television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted.”

Craig Dubczak, who was featured on the most recent edition, was arrested on June 6 and charged with third-degree assault for an incident in Pāhoa Village on April 10.

Michael David Negrini, who was featured on the program in September 2008 and again on May 6 of this year, was arrested on June 16 on the strength of a grand jury indictment and charged with harassment, trespassing, open lewdness, criminal property damage and two counts of assaulting a police officer.

Alexander Aehegma was arrested on June 16 by sheriffs on Oahu for violating terms of conditional release in a kidnapping, sexual assault and felony abuse case.

“The Police Department is grateful for the tips from the public that helped us find these wanted men,” said Assistant Chief Henry Tavares, who hosts the TV show.

Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted

20090521_most-wantedThe most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” features a man wanted for violating terms of conditional release, a woman wanted for contempt of court and drug charges, and a man wanted for cocaine charges.

The program airs on Na Leo O Hawai’i Community Television Channel 54 on Sundays at 5 p.m. and Fridays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs intermittently on Channel 53.

On the program, police ask for the public’s help in locating 27-year-old Alexander Aehegma of Keauhou, who is wanted for violating terms of conditional release in a kidnapping, sexual assault and felony abuse case. He is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-9, 150 pounds with red hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen boarding a plane to Honolulu. A no-bail warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The television program also features a woman wanted on a warrant of arrest for methamphetamine-related charges and on a bench warrant for criminal contempt of court. Thirty-three-year-old Johnna Hokulani Paishon is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-11, 230 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She is believed to have no permanent address and was last known to frequent the Keauhou area.

“Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” also asks for the public’s help in locating 33-year-old Tomas Velasco Muro of Waimea, who is wanted on a warrant of arrest for cocaine charges. He is also known as Tomas Velasco. He described as Hispanic, 5-foot-10, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Hawaii’s Most Wanted by police

The most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” features two men wanted for jumping bail and a man wanted for assaulting a police officer.

The new episode begins airing Friday, April 17.

20090416_mostwantedIn it, police ask for the public’s help in locating 34-year-old Marciano Dennis Samana, who is wanted for jumping bail and for a grand jury indictment for promoting dangerous drugs, promoting detrimental drugs and possessing drug paraphernalia. He is described as Samoan, 5-foot-10, 280 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

The television program also features 48-year-old Norbert Thomas Burke Jr., who is wanted for jumping bail, violating terms of release on bail, contempt of court and failure to appear in court. Police also have an all-points bulletin out for him in connection with a theft. He is described as Caucasian, 6-feet tall, about 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

“Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” also asks for the public’s help in locating 51-year-old Michael David Negrini, who is wanted on six warrants, including two for assaulting a police officer. He is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-11, about 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

“Since ‘Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted’ began in February 2007, we have asked for your help in locating 59 people who were either wanted or missing,” said Assistant Chief Henry Tavares, who hosts the program. “Thanks to the response from this community, we’ve cleared 31 of those cases.”

Hawaii’s ‘Most Wanted’ on Na Leo O Hawaii TV

20090313_police-most-wantedThe most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” features a 51-year-old man wanted for a grand jury indictment on drug offenses, a man wanted for violating probation in a heroin case, and a man wanted in an investigation into violating a court order and making a harassing phone call.

The new episode begins airing Friday, March 13.

In it, police ask for the public’s help in locating Barry Kashiwabara, who is wanted for a six-count grand jury indictment for meth trafficking and other drug offenses. He is described as Japanese, 5-foot-8, about 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

The television program also features Mark Wirth, who is wanted for violating probation in a heroin case. He is described as Caucasian, 6-feet tall, about 150 pounds with hazel eyes and blond hair.

“Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted” also asks for the public’s help in locating Sundown Scrigna, who is wanted in connection with an investigation of violating a court order and making a harassing phone call. Scrigna was last seen in the Pāhoa area of the Puna District. He is described as Caucasian, 6-foot 2, approximately 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Since the show’s debut in February 2007, police have asked for the public’s help in locating 56 people who were either wanted or missing. They have cleared 31 of those cases because of the community’s response, said the show’s host, Assistant Chief Henry Tavares.

Three of police ‘most wanted’ caught

Hawai’i Island police have arrested three men who were featured on the most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted.” The episode first aired on February 6.

In it, police had asked for the public’s help in identifying a man who was photographed by a surveillance camera at the scene of several car break-ins in Hilo. Police arrested 32-year-old Brian E. Perreira on February 25 for second-degree theft. Detectives conducted further investigation and charged Perreira with four counts of second-degree theft, three counts of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, one count of criminal property damage, one count of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, one count of second-degree burglary and one count of first-degree trespassing. His bail was set at $55,000.

20090304_most-wanted-caught-menThe television program had also asked for the public’s help in locating 26-year-old Richard Davis Potter and 25-year-old Mark Yun Jin McCurley.

Potter was arrested on February 20 on a contempt of court bench warrant. He was also arrested and charged with burglary and second-degree theft. His bail was set at $7,200.

McCurley was arrested on February 27 on a contempt of court warrant. He was also arrested and charged with burglary and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. His bail was set at $4,400.

“The Hawai’i Police Department appreciates the continued assistance by the public in the solving of crimes and apprehension of wanted persons,” said Lieutenant Mitchell Kanehailua from the Criminal Investigations Section in Hilo. He asked that anyone with information on criminal activity or wanted persons call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted suspects

suspectsThe most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program “Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted” features a man captured on tape by a surveillance camera and two men wanted for warrants and for questioning in connection with burglaries.

The new episode begins airing Friday, February 6.

In it, police ask for the public’s help in locating an unknown man who was photographed by a surveillance camera at the scene of several car break-ins in Hilo. The thefts occurred on Kukila Street between 8 p.m. on December 18th and 6 a.m. on December 19th.

The television program also features 25-year-old Mark Yun Jin McCurley, whose last known address was in Puna. McCurley is wanted for an outstanding warrant and for questioning in connection with a burglary investigation. He is described as being of Korean ancestry, 5-foot-7, about 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of the word “PUNA” on the back of his neck.

“Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted” also asks for the public’s help in locating 26-year-old Richard Davis Potter of Keaau, who is wanted on a warrant for criminal contempt of court and for questioning in connection with burglaries in East Hawaii. Potter is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-8, about 140 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
