Kai Store’s roof was damaged Thursday night (Nov 12) by high winds in Hilo. A weather system brought thunder, lightning, rain and high winds to the Big Island and forecasts call for more rain throughout the week.

Surfers at Honolii surf spot enjoyed the Eastern swells the past week as a high surf advisories were posted by the National Weather Service.
