Kailua-Kona Public Library is scheduled to close from Saturday, Aug. 1 to Monday, Aug. 10 to complete earthquake repairs.

While the library is closed, the book drops will remain open, and pick up dates for holds will be extended.

Customers are encouraged to log-on to the HSPLS website, www.librarieshawaii.org from their home or office computer, to browse the HSPLS Catalog for book titles, eBooks, digital audio books, EBSCOhost (features a wide a variety of online databases), which provides full-text materials from magazines, newspapers, journals, and other publications.
